In 2007, Rev. D.J. Vincent’s simple act of hosting a potluck for unhoused people in Salem, Oregon grew into Church @ the Park, a nonprofit that now serves thousands through housing and support services. Influenced by the faith-based network Street Psalms, Vincent embraced a “theology from below” that centers marginalized voices and fosters community-led change. Street Psalms equips leaders worldwide with a relational, abundance-oriented framework—See, Do, Be, Free—to create inclusive, peace-driven ministries rooted in dignity and mutuality.
