Tending Our Gardens While the World Burns

This Faith & Leadership article wrestles with a question many of us carry: how do we keep tending our ordinary lives when the world is full of suffering and injustice? Andrea Palpant Dilley reflects on the tension between caring for home, family, and neighborhood while also staying awake to the needs of the wider world. Her answer is not either/or, but both/and: we are called to tend the small places entrusted to us while still looking up, reaching out, and joining in the larger work of justice, compassion, and repair.
